Be loyal to your guild and guild mates
Knife’s Edge promises to stand behind its members and support them
in whatever endeavor they may wish to pursue, be it crafting, leveling,
RvR, exploration or any other acceptable pursuit. In return Knife’s
Edge expects its members to support the guild as a whole in any way you
can.
You are a representative of your guild
Be honest and fair in all of your dealings with others. Try to
avoid arguments over loot drops when grouping with others. In general
if an item drops and someone in that group can use it – give it to them.
Loot can be replaced and will drop again – friends and reputations are
more important. Misrepresenting your guild or excessive complaints
about your behavior will result in discipline and may end in expulsion
from Knife’s Edge.
Keep guild resources in the guild
Items given to you by other guildies are not to be sold or given to
someone outside the guild. Items in your vault collecting dust don’t
help the guild. Get them to someone that can use them. If you
have a lot of gold horded up, hand out some to the lowbies. If you
get it from another guildie, it is a guild resource. Don’t sell items to
guild mates for profit but don’t be surprised if you are asked to pay the
cost for creating an item. Asterite Chain Hauberks are expensive
to make...
Be considerate to your guild mates
There are a lot of different people in Knife’s Edge. Please keep
this in mind when using guild chat or other public channels. Be patient
with people having technical difficulties. While Knife’s Edge encourages
its members to group up and help each other to level, please understand
that sometimes people have other things in game that they want, or need,
to do. If you have problems with the guild, bring it to the attention of
an officer or GM. If you have problems with a member of the guild,
politely try to resolve the issue between yourselves. If that
fails, seek the help of an officer or GM to resolve the issue.
RvR Raids and other Guild/Alliance Events
Show up...raids and events are much better when everyone shows up.
Follow the orders of the designated leader in RvR events. If you
are leading an RvR event make sure it is well planned and you have plenty
of help to make it happen. Try to contribute to the raid/event however
you can to make it a positive experience.
Grouping (from painful experience)
Dying is bad - try to avoid dying....the whole group dying can not only
wipe out the last half hour of exp, but often it takes quite a minutes
to get the whole group up, buffed, and running again...
If possible have a healer or shaman in the group - and protect them.
Always designate ONE person in the group to pull - even if you have
grouped before-make sure the whole group knows at all times who is pulling.
Designate peelers - people who will pull the mobs of the healers/shamans
Have some plan when 2 or mobs come - make sure everyone in the group knows
this plan
Make sure the group knows where to run if things get ugly
Tell the healers/shamans to run early on if you know things are
ugly
Be extremely cautious around mobs that are aggressive and when exploring
new areas
Try to learn from every death experience and avoid the same mistakes...
